The global response to Covid-19 has varied wildly based on local strategies, governments, and beliefs. This segmented approach has allowed the world at large to witness mitigation efforts that were largely successful, as well as those that have been considered failures.

The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on the planet. No nation has emerged unscathed. And, while vaccines promise a slow progression toward reopening national economies, chances are very good that the precautions and safeguards adopted during the pandemic will carry through 2021 and even further.
For the foreseeable future, social distancing, wearing masks, limiting the number of people in any confined space at a given time, and other steps will be our new normal. We must learn to adapt and to adjust to bring some sense of sanity to a world turned upside down. To help us change, adapt, and even flourish, we must adopt specific strategies and responses.
